"Enjoyable, relaxing weekend"
The Landlady was very welcoming and friendly as were the staff. The Landlord, although friendly seemed unable to "keep up" with things. The breakfasts very good over the bank holiday but on the Tuesday morning we had no condiment, serviettes, teaplates, knives for soreading butter onto our toast, no glasses for fruit juice, no selction of fruit althogh over the bank holiday itself there was a good choice of fruit. The room was clean, but needed a chair, en-suite cold, only 1 bedside table. "Friendly welcome at an old pub in gorgeous location"
An over night stay after arriving back in Penzance on the Scillonian and before setting off home. We chose CAdgwith Cove Inn for its location and then its description in the Good Pub Guide. We wanted to do a shortish coastal walk during our short stay. Read less
Likes:
We loved the footpath down into the village, the arrival into the busy fishing village, the old pub which is used by locals as well as visitors, and our warm welcome upon arrival. Definitely go again.
Dislikes:
As explained to us by our hosts, the pub accommodation is rather tired and 'make-do'- to be refurbished next winter. Breakfast presentation rather uninspired, & accompanying tv not necessary

The couple who run the pub are very pleasant and welcoming. The pub has a relaxed atmosphere with a good selection of real ales and good food at reasonable prices.
Dislikes:
The room was cold with only a small electric heater, there is no TV and no chair to sit on. Generally, not a very comfortable or pleasant room.

My husband really enjoyed the Tribute beer and the Stowford press cider was very drinkable too. The fresh fish was lovely and straight from the sea. The folk night was interesting!
Dislikes:
we would have liked two easy chairs in the room. One day was very wet and our room had a lovely view over the beach but the seating was not that great to take advantage.

"Lovely location and Unique Place to Stay"
I have stayed at Cadgewith for many years - this was my first time staying at the Inn. I love the fact that it has it's own unique character which is it's main USP. I would like the core elements to remain the same, the bar, most of the building, socials and the fact that it clearly reflects local and tourists Read less
Likes:
It is an old Inn which hasn't been disneyfied and the staff were very friendly. It isn't exactly the Ritz but people coming here are cliff walkers and like me don't want yet another gastro chain pub.
Dislikes:
The rooms are not ensuite which for B and B is a must - unless it markets itself as walking/hostel accomadation maybe.
